About me

I’m a consultant dietitian with over 12 years of experience in helping people through their weight loss journey.

My core values are offering the highest quality of care and treating patients who have often had negative healthcare experiences previously with the empathy, kindness and understanding that they deserve.

I specialise in complex weight management so tend to see patients with higher BMIs, complex medical conditions and patients undergoing weight loss surgery (also known as Bariatric Surgery). As a registered dietitian my practice is entirely evidence-based and I work as part of an expert team in both the NHS and private sector with some of the UK’s most highly regarded Bariatric Surgeons, Endocrinologists and Psychology health professionals.

My approach to nutrition and health is realistic and pragmatic, with a strong emphasis on the balance between health and quality of life. I will always tailor my advice to the individual based on their own values and situation to achieve substantive yet sustainable change.

I am a Specialist Dietitian at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Trust in Complex Obesity and Bariatric Surgery. I completed my MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics at King’s College London where I also lecture in Dietetics. I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and am a member of the British Dietetic Association.
